EDC Trip 1 of 5:Budapest Hungary In 1999 I had a project for a clinical study at two sites in Hungary using the companies EDC software. We are talking about the time when it was 'intranet' direct dial-in. It was just a point-to-point Euro-ISDN connection between the German Telecomm and the Hungarian Matav.
EDC Trip 2 of 5: Szombathely Hungary I collected the computers from the CRO in Budapest and I was off west, direction Szombathely which was almost back to Vienna. The two sites I was setting up were Father and Son. Professor ‘I.’ was my next stop and his son Doctor ‘I.’ was in Pecs down south.
EDC Trip 3 of 5: Pécs Hungary I found the clinic; it was in downtown Pécs. I was a little astonished at the condition of the building and the facilities. The place needed a complete renovation and was very run down. ‘Doctor I’ was waiting for me.
