Canterbury: English Lessions - March 2002

H has been teaching for almost two and a half decades and now she had the opportunity to teach English to the 3rd. grade and as she has been married to a Brit. for 26 years she thought she would take the plunge.

There are two methods to get qualified: a one year online sandwich course or two weeks crash course in Canterbury - that is of course not crashing 'into' Canterbury, well you know what I mean.
H found a couple to take her in for the duration, the 'lady of the house' was from Leningrad and H had her first bout of native English with a Russian accent - no matter – main thing they are nice people.

I’m having time to be with me Mum. We will drive up to see her sister (1st. time in ages that she has the chance to get out after her stroke). I’ll be running down to Canterbury to pick H up for Easter Sunday.
